This light suit is actually based on a wearable wire frame structure that I made  (as seen in photo).
This suit is part of a performance piece where I would show up in the suit and ask classmates if they would like a light. If they responded yes, I would rip a glowstick off myself and hand it to them. As I progressed, the structure of my suit would start to disappear but my classmates and myself would become more visible.
